Hearing Stu Cook and Doug Clifford recreate their rhythm parts all these years later, you realize how distinctive they are as a rhythm unit. Fogerty may have written the parts as he claims, but nothing on his solo albums approximates their sound, not his own playing not his drum programming and sequencing and not the band on his live album.
